Since founding in
1991, SOREPLA has focused exclusively
on the development and the marketing of recycled plastics derived from
domestic packaging waste.
From 1997, the Company has been recognised by all as the leader
in France in the field of the recycling of PET and HDPE plastic packaging
waste.
SOREPLA is the partner of the French
firms ECO EMBALLAGES
and VALORPLAST.
The corpus of European regulations imposes on its member states the requirement
by 2012 to recycle a minimum of 22% of the amount of packaging, per material
used.
Concerning the domestic plastic packaging, 106 000
tons have been recycled in France in 2001 of whom 23
000 tons handled to SOREPLA
(22% of the volume.) The perspectives to come are 135
000 tons in 2002, 140 500 tons in
2003 and 200 000 tons in 2007.
SOREPLA
has a production unit since 2002 to handle the extra processing of 30 000 tons
of PET.
SOREPLA undertakes to answer the expectations of its customers
by supplying them some flakes with the quality they need as soon as possible.
This new line is going
to allow SOREPLA to consolidate its
leading position in France and in Europe. As a result, it will ensure that
SOREPLA's performance both technically
and economically reaches full potential.

few either in France, in Europe and SOREPLA
