SOREPLA
was founded in 1991 in the period after the signing of the decree implementing the 1975 Act relating to waste and the setting-up of ECO-EMBALLAGES.

SOREPLA is also approved by TÜV (Deutschland), Fost Plus (Belgium) and Corepla (Italy) for some of our customers, to whom the provision of a service is offered.



The amount of waste treated by SOREPLA has grown steadily: from 100 T in 1994 to 12,000 T in 1998 and 42,000 T in 2003 to 52,000 T in 2007, representing 25% of the bottles collected in France in accordance with the provisions of the ECO EMBALLAGES operation.

The majority of plastic bottles from the system ECO EMBALLAGES via VALORPLAST are converted into flakes or granules, serving as a new raw material for the plastics conversion industry, following the mechanical processes: pre-washing, further sorting, grinding, washing, separation, drying.

The recycling of domestic plastic waste represents 80% of SOREPLA's business, the remaining 20% comes from industry (car and industrial waste sources).
